Yoko Sushi in Roseville

Our party of 2 was there on a Tuesday lunch, around 12:15. We were seated instantly, there were only 2 other tables occupied at the time (could have to do with restaurant location, it's a little hidden). The restaurant was clean and pleasantly decorated. The staff were super friendly and we were waited on right away.We chose to order off the 50% off house rolls menu, although there were several special rolls I have my eye on! We chose 3 - Happy, Ninja, and Spicy Killer. All 3 rolls were delicious and well made, with our favorite being the Happy roll. We enjoyed it so much we ended up ordering a second Happy. I actually forgot to take any pictures until the server brought it out! The Spicy Killer was nicely spicy (so many aren't). The fish used in the rolls was very good, tasted fresh and the flavors of the sauces were balanced just right. Price was great for the quality of sushi, I will for sure be back soon and would highly recommend it.

Love this joint, good food and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable as well. I'm turning I to a regular at this joint.

Best sushi in town hands down. I was very disappointed with the sushi I had tried since moving here until I found this place by happy accident. The Happy Roll is my favorite, I recommend asking to make it spicy if that's your game. Every roll I've tried here is delicious though. Even our very picky son (3 yrs old) happily ate a few rolls once without us offering, he ignored his usual for these tuna rolls! Everyone here is always prompt and friendly, I wish I lived closer.

Beat sushi in Roseville and have the best prices. We leave full every time. Beats all the big chain restaurants. Friendly service too

Earlier this year I called the restaurant to order take-out right when they opened. I was told it would be 30 minutes since they were busy. That was fine by me since that would bring me closer to noon.I went in to pick up my order after almost 45 minutes and was made to wait longer. The lady told me that they were busy (the restaurant was completely empty). There was only one other guy that came in to pick up his order as well. I had to wait an additional 15 minutes. The lady, she is older/aged, was short and abrupt with her words and actions. Not very friendly.The sushi I ordered was not good at all. I feel cheated and wasted money on the sushi at this restaurant. I had ordered two servings and was sorely disappointed. Sushi at the Hawaiian BBQ on Bruceville Road by Target is so much better and a lot less expensive.Definitely don't recommend this place and will not eat there again.

Hidden behind the bustle, this restaurant has high quality sushi in a relaxing environment. The fish is cut with care, full of flavor. The rice is true sushi rice and clearly cooked with care. They do not have gimmicks on their menu, just quality food.

Great sushi and great prices! I found this place on accident, and I'm really glad I did. Since then, I've been here numerous times and brought friends. Their chicken katsu bento is awesome! Everything is very fresh and tastes great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Some of the best sushi I, and my family, have ever had! The price was very fair and the quality of the sushi was extremely high. The staff was incredibly kind and our food came out a lot faster than at most places. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have some cheaper, yet high quality sushi and a nice and relaxing place to rest.

My absolute favorite place to eat! I've been eating here for over ten years. The absolute best service, food, and quaint ambiance. My coworker recommended this place and made it a point to tell me not to be fooled by the location and exterior. This is my favorite places to eat and catch up with friends

Very good service and excellent Japanese Fair. The pricing was very affordable and the same for lunch and dinner! Try the Super Spider Roll #Yummy! Benito Box with 2 items was great.

Ordered a delivery from them. Sushi were OK but guys are trying to save on supply items as much as they can: one pair of chopsticks for 2 items order, 1-2 napkins, very small amount of soy sauce and ginger -- basically only for one sushi roll, second one came without anything. Would recommend only if you have everything for sushi at home.

I stopped to use the restroom so I thought it would be fair to at least purchase a small meal. $5 got me a damn good California Roll.

Group of 7 and they wouldn't put 2 tables together even though the restaurant was almost empty.

Awesome little place. My husband and I love eating here at least on the once a month basis. I love how they pay attention to our preferences where when I forget to ask for specific things, they would remember and provide it like my little slices of lemon. Another great thing about the place is the great price. They are a bit hidden but Google will find it!

Food was good and the service was too. Good spot for a quick bite and affordable sushi.

We got the 12 piece BBQ tuna and it was old and had a funny taste. I got a super spider roll and it was made with imitation crab. And the eel looked liked a scab that had been in the pool for an hour! My wife’s food seemed old as well. I thought with these great reviews it would have been good. Definitely not the case!

Food is excellent! Go there frequently for lunch. Best Gyoza ever! Tempura is perfect too. Go try it!

Nice little place, not much lighting, at least in the day time. Device was fast and the rolls also came out really quick. Not a bad place for what I got and I could tell the rice had an added flavor of garlic, which was a pleasant surprise. The rolls are made wider and shorter, so it does take a little more to put it in your mouth, but probably has the same amount as the longer skinny rolls. I was probably in and out in 20 minutes.

I went here a couple months ago. It was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend going to this place if you love authentic sushi. In case someone can’t eat raw fish, they also have some incredibly great sushi rolls that are fully cooked!

Worst sushi place I've been to, ever! Waited for 1hr and 30 minutes for the waiter to take orders, then another hrs for the food. Just when the waiting is long, they've charged tip to themselves three times. Didn't realize it until I was home.

Great sushi reasonably priced. We took a group of eight for my son's 17th birthday and they were very accommodating of our group. These boys are football players with good appetites and we fed everyone till they were full and the bill was only $150. The Yoko Roll was a favorite. I ordered three of the smaller rolls and a nigiri and one roll plate to share with my daughter and husband. Nigiri was fresh and delicious rolls were tasty and we couldn't finish all of it. This place is a hidden gem and we will be back!

This place was right down the street from our hotel and it was delicious. It doesn't look like much from outside but inside it's clean and a friendly atmosphere. We got their 50% specialty rolls and they were delicious. If we come back to the area again we're definitely coming back.

Love this place!

No matter what you get, sushi to teriyaki it tastes amazing. To say the least this food is fresh and fantastic!
